Mythology mixed with modern times? Sounds awesome.
Man is trying to fight to be free of the oppression of the gods? Sweet.
Age of Ra? Meh.
I wanted to like this book but the only parts really worth reading were the chapter breaks dealing with the gods. Aside from David the characters were flat, I saw the twist coming, and it didn’t hold my attention. The author has a few other books along this same idea, I’m going to check those out in hopes that they’re better.
Verdict: Read it at the DMV if you can’t find anything else.
